Robert B. Tierney

Robert B. Tierney, a 2002 visiting scholar at the Taub Urban Research Center, now serves as chair of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.

Mr. Tierney, an expert in state and local governance, was Counsel to former Mayor Ed Koch, and later, Chairman of the New York City Water Board. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of both the Citizens Union Foundation and the Citizens Budget Commission, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives.
